Amy Lee and Evanescence have been performing on the Family Values Tour, with a recent "classical" stop in Saratoga Springs. The reviews have been outstanding and Amy Lee has really shined.

Evanescence ringtones from the new album are hitting phones everywhere. I heard "Call Me When You Are Sober" just the other day jamming from another fan and got inspired for my own phone. Maybe it was your phone I heard?

In a recent statement, Amy Lee says that John LeComp and Rocky Gray were more focused on the money than their joy for Evanescence. Further, Amy stated that Rocky Gray did not resign the band, but rather that she had him fired. Will Hunt and Troy McLawhorn have now taken John and Rocky's place in the band.

Rocky Gray (drummer) and John LeComp (guitarist) have now left Evanescence, leaving Amy Lee as the only original member of Evanescence dating back to the release of the "Fallen" album. It's hard to know what the future holds for Evanescence, but Amy Lee is certainly the driving force behind Evanescence. Rocky and John will certainly be missed. This said, maybe change won't be such a bad thing as long as Amy Lee remains the constant leader. Bring on the new music and let's rock on Evanescence!

The New Album is now out! "The Open Door" has hit shelves worldwide and the reviews have been incredible! It was a long wait for us Amy Lee fans, but now the album is selling even better than anyone expected. Amy Lee and Evanescence are getting constant radio play. "The Open Door" features 13 new tracks, including "Weight of the World," "Good Enough" and the new single "Call Me When You Are Sober." For Evanescence's first album since lead guitarist and song writer B. Moody left the band in 2003, this CD doesn't dissappoint.
It's been a long wait, but this new album is a must hear...check it out today.
